All screen recording data is processed entirely on your device:

• Screen recordings are converted to GIF format locally
• GIF files are saved only to locations you explicitly choose through the macOS save dialog
• No data is sent to external servers or third-party services
• No analytics or tracking is performed

3. Data Storage and Security

SuperScreenToGif operates as a sandboxed macOS application:

• All processing occurs locally on your Mac
• Screen recordings are temporarily stored in system temporary directories during processing
• Temporary files are automatically deleted after GIF conversion
• Final GIF files are saved only to locations you choose, with full user control
• The app requires explicit user permission to access screen recording capabilities

4. Permissions

SuperScreenToGif requires the following macOS permissions:

• Screen Recording Permission: Required to capture screen content. This permission is requested by macOS when you first start recording. You can revoke this permission at any time in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording.
• File Access Permission: The app uses the standard macOS save dialog, which allows you to choose where to save files. The app only accesses files in locations you explicitly select.

SuperScreenToGif does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline and does not communicate with external servers.
