Quickly Remember Note is a local-first macOS quick-capture app. Your notes are stored on your device. We do not sell your data.
Information We Collect
Quickly Remember Note does not collect personal information on our servers.
- Notes content: stored locally on your Mac using SwiftData.
- App settings: stored locally (e.g., hotkey preset, theme preference).
How We Use Information
All data is used only to provide the app’s functionality:
- Saving and displaying your notes.
- Applying your settings (hotkey and appearance).
- Exporting notes to a text file when you choose to export.
Data Storage
Notes are stored locally on your device (SwiftData). If you export notes, the exported file is saved to a location you select via the macOS Save dialog.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties. The app does not transmit your notes to any remote server.
Network Access
Quickly Remember Note does not require network access to function.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data stored locally on your device. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for the security of your device and your exported files.
Children’s Privacy
Quickly Remember Note is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
