This Privacy Policy explains how ConvertTo1080pFaster ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use the ConvertTo1080pFaster macOS application (the "App").

1. Overview

ConvertTo1080pFaster is a local video conversion tool for macOS. The App is designed to run entirely on your device. Your video files are processed locally on your Mac and are not uploaded to any server operated by us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not:

• Collect or store your video files on our servers
• Collect personal contact information such as your name, email address, or phone number
• Track your activity across other apps or websites
• Sell or share any personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

3. Local Processing of Your Files

When you use the App to convert videos, your files are processed locally on your Mac. The App:

• Reads the video files you choose
• Converts them to 1080p 30fps MP4 format
• Saves the converted files in a folder inside your Documents directory on your Mac

We do not have access to these files. All processing happens only on your device.

4. Analytics and Tracking

The App does not include third-party analytics SDKs or tracking tools intended to identify you or build a profile about you.

5. Crash Reports and Diagnostics

If you choose to share crash reports and diagnostics with Apple (through macOS system settings), Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated crash information to help improve stability and performance. These reports do not include your personal content such as your video files.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Security

Because all video processing occurs locally on your device, the security of your content is largely determined by the security of your Mac and your own practices (such as using a strong password and keeping your system up to date).

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, requests to access, correct, or delete personal data typically do not apply. If you have any concerns about privacy or data usage, you can uninstall the App at any time, and you may delete any converted files directly from your Mac.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
